A cropped version of the Endora using the work of textile designer Oriette Wood.
Oriette explains her take on the Newspaper print “As a trans woman who is often obliquely feminine, I operate with a particular kind of irreverence, one that blends my love of printed matter with trans visibility, filth, and the erotic. I want to create unities between queer theory and the sartorial history of print, to offer a visibility beyond the political and nightmarish hegemony of transphobia and gender nihilism”.
The Endora top features central panels of Oriette’s newspaper printed silk crepe de chine with sheer black silk georgette side panels. The sleeves finish mid arm and there is elastic at the waist for a blousson effect. It features a back neck slit with tie closing which can also be worn open at the front for a lower neckline. Wear it with jeans for a casual day or a leather skirt for a night out.
This is a made to order garment and takes between 2- 3 weeks to made and post.
One size fits most it’s the elastic that changes for sizes. There is plenty of room to move in this top. The top Oriette wears is 65cm long from shoulder to hem as she likes to wear garments at the hip rathe rather the waist. Alices top measures 53 cm long from shoulder to waist for a more high waisted look. We will be in touch to discuss how long you’d like yours to be.
It measures 98cm from sleeve to sleeve/ across body (196 cms total) and 53cm from neck to waist. It can be made longer if requested.
